Promotion
We will make a mailing to 300 advertisers or agencies from your promotion list prior to the ad closing date for each studied issue, advising them of the upcoming AD-Q Study and encouraging them to advertise in the issue.

AD-Q will also provide upon request 300 copies of two professionally-designed brochures targeted at advertisers and agencies for use by your sales staff as leave-behinds or for use in your own promotional mailings.

Survey
Each study involves a mail survey of up to 120 items (limit of 50 items when conducted online) selected by the publisher from the studied issue. The 120 items may be divided between advertisements and editorial departments or features at the discretion of the publisher.

The questionnaire typically includes eight 'standard' Reader Profile questions relating to the reader's company, job responsibility, and his/her involvement in the purchase of selected product categories. Publishers are encouraged to collaborate with AD-Q's professional research staff to customize the survey to fit their needs.

Reports
There are three reports included in each AD-Q Study:

  1. The Advertiser Report presents both historical and current issue data on reader buying influence and readership scores for the advertisements studied. Scores for all advertisements are shown separately for all readers and for those readers who have buying/specifying influence for the advertised product.
  2. The AD-Q Publisher's Report presents the editorial and reader profile portion of the data gathered. This may be used in conjunction with the Advertiser Report or may be used independently. This report includes the use of graphics to help enliven the presentation of the data.
  3. The Verbatim Comments Report presents verbatim feedback from the readers on advertisements as well as editorial content in the studied issue.

Awards & Plaques
We will provide professionally-lettered AD-Q Award Certificates for your highest scoring advertisers. The top scoring advertiser will receive a certificate that will include a color reproduction of their ad, along with a customized Advertiser Report with their name on the cover. Handsome solid walnut plaques are also available.
